Mrs Guru
Well dear readers (all four of you!), the deckchair guru is getting married! Last Monday, I proposed and the soon to be Mrs Guru accepted. The wedding date is not yet finalised but all going well it will be March/April/May next year, location availability pending.
In other news, I have taken a week off work to catch my breath and enjoy a break. I’d been working some pretty full on hours and am looking forward to enjoying a slower pace for a week, as well as catching up with some friends I haven’t seen in a long time.
I also plan to finally type up my travel notes from a two week trip to Darwin back in May. They will be posted here so keep an eye out for them later in the week.
edit:Â In response to Renee – I set up our backyard with solar lights around the edges, fairy lights along the top of the fence, and used rope light to spell out the words “Marry Me”. When E’lise got home, I made her put a blindfold on, led her outside to the table (which was all decked out with wine and food), flicked the lights on, let her take the blindfold off, got down on one knee and asked her to marry me.
